sternbergia

the 8 members of the genus sternbergia are commonly known as autumn/winter daffodil or yellow autumn crocus. their yellow or white flowers look a bit like crocus. some of the species are blooming in fall others in spring.

the most often grown species seems to be sternbergia lutea. it shall be hardy to zone 6 (-23.3 °c/-10 °f) which i havn’t tested till yet …
